Extra, Extra: le Web 3 Edition [en]

In bloggerati news, le Web 3 (called the "Davos des blogueurs" in a recent headline) is today and tomorrow in Paris, and there's a growing stream of new stuff online about it now that day one is done. Take a look...
- The conference is being broadcast on vpod.tv. We also found a 17 minute video of Lorraine Twohill of Google at lvb.net, and a raw list of almost 20 videos of the presentations. (We didn't watch them all, so be careful if you download.)
- Blogging has also commenced about the conference. You can see the growing number of blog entries tagged with "leWeb3," and already more than 1000 entries just mentioning the conference on Technorati.
- Reactions appear to be mixed. SimonSays has a nice summary, and there are good comments on this post, Le Web 3: The problem with today's sessions.
- Pointblog seems to be doing a day by day recap. Jour 1 ici [fr].
- Evidently there isn't more liveblogging from the scene because it was effectively "disabled by the lack of connectivity," or as noodlepie put it, they were "a bit wifi dry." Cybersoc.com writes: "coming to a tech conference like Le Web and NOT being able to publish instantly is like having your hands cut off..."
- Flickr has hundreds of photos tagged "leWeb3." Perhaps appropriate for Paris, most of the photos seem to be of pre-conf eating and drinking events, vs shots from the actual conference. (We thought there would be a fair amount of moblogging today. Were they too busy trying to connect to the wifi that wasn't working?)
- If you want some background on the whole thing, there's an interview with le Web head Loïc Le Meur in MetroFrance from Saturday.
- You can also go right to the Loïc source at loiclemeur.com [fr]. English version here.
Were you at le Web 3? Or do you know of a good French language or English language blog that's got more information and links? Tell us.
